Sales Manager
Overview:
We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Sales Manager to lead and grow our commercial
efforts within the Agriculture and vertical farming sector. This role requires a strong track record in sales, with
hands-on experience in the agriculture or ag-tech industry, ideally within a vertical farming environment.
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and
leading the company to achieve ambitious targets. We’re looking for someone who is not only commercially
savvy but also understands the operational and technical side of modern farming systems.
Location:
Hybrid. The candidate must be UK-based and with travel to London/Bracknell (HQ) once or twice a week.
Occasional travel across the UK and internationally for events, meetings, and sales opportunities, so travel
flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
● Use market insights and hands-on knowledge to shape sales pitches and product
positioning
● Drive sales growth in the vertical farming space across the UK and internationally
● Develop and implement go-to-market strategies and lead the full sales
cycle—from lead generation to closing deals
● Identify and target high-potential prospects across key sectors (e.g. food
manufacturing, distribution, real estate, hospitality, urban planning)
● Lead business development initiatives, identifying and qualifying opportunities in
line with IAG’s growth strategy
● Oversee and support the full sales cycle, from lead generation to proposal,
negotiation, and close — while actively managing key accounts and complex deals
● Manage and coach junior sales team members on outreach best practices (e.g.
LinkedIn, email, phone, networking) to drive pipeline growth
● Build, monitor, and optimise the sales pipeline, ensuring high conversion rates and
effective prioritisation of opportunities
● Set and achieve ambitious sales targets in a high-performance, results-driven
environment
● Represent IAG at key industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
to build relationships and enhance brand visibility
● Craft tailored proposals, ensuring they align with customer needs and business
goals, and deliver high-impact sales presentations
● Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to align messaging, stay
ahead of market trends, and inform product positioning
● Effectively communicate complex, technical solutions to both technical and
non-technical stakeholders
● Lead cross-functional collaboration to develop solutions that meet customer
requirements and support long-term partnerships
● Own CRM accuracy and pipeline visibility, providing regular reporting and sales
forecasts to senior leadership
Requirements:
● 3–5 years of experience in a B2B sales position, with at least 2 years in the
agriculture/ag-tech sector
● Hands-on experience in vertical farming or controlled environment agriculture
● Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
● Passionate about sustainability, greening cities, food, vertical farming
● Good technical skills, comfortable with Microsoft packages
