Overview

We’re looking for a Sales Executive with a minimum of 2–3 years of business development/sales experience and a background in the agriculture sector. Experience in vertical farming is desirable. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role, and we’re seeking someone who thrives on achieving sales goals.

Location:

Hybrid. The candidate must be UK-based and with travel to London/Bracknell (HQ) once or twice a week. Occasional travel across the UK and internationally for events, meetings, and sales opportunities, so travel flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

● Research and identify high-potential prospects across key sectors (e.g. food manufacturing, distribution, real estate, hospitality, urban planning)
● Drive business development initiatives by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities aligned with IAG’s strategic goals.
● Nurture leads through the full sales cycle — from outreach and discovery to proposal, pitch, negotiation, and close
● Proactively engage new leads through cold outreach (LinkedIn, email, phone, networking)
● Create a strong sales pipeline and nurture leads through full sales cycle from initial contact outreach to and discovery to proposal, pitch, negotiation and close
● Thrive in a high-performance, target-driven sales environment, using a mix of phone calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits
● Represent IAG at industry trade shows, events, and networking functions to generate leads and boost visibility
● Develop tailored proposals and deliver compelling sales presentations
● Work closely with the Marketing team to stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity, informing strategy and messaging
● Understand and articulate technical solutions to non-technical audiences
● Work cross-functionally with internal teams to shape solutions that meet client needs
● Maintain accurate CRM records and provide timely pipeline reporting to the team.

Requirements:

● 2-3 years’ experience in a B2B Business Development Executive or similar role
● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
● Organised and flexible - able to juggle tasks, learn quickly
● Adaptable, versatile, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
● Passionate about sustainability, greening cities, food, vertical farming
● Good technical skills, comfortable with Microsoft packages

Desirable:

● Experience within CEA (hydroponics, aeroponics, or horticulture tech)
● Experience within technology sales
● Network of contacts in food manufacturing, retail supply chains, or hospitality procurement
● Experience working in or selling to local authorities, councils, or urban developers
● Previous success in scaling a sales pipeline in a startup or scale-up environment

Founder’s Associate

Overview:

As we scale, we’re looking for a sharp, resourceful Founder's Associate to work directly with the founder/CEO and help drive key initiatives across multiple functions across the business. This is a dynamic role where you will gain hands-on experience in scaling a business, working cross-functionally, and making a direct impact on the company’s success.
As a Founder's Associate, you’ll operate as the right hand to the founder, taking on a wide variety of high-impact tasks. Think of this as a launchpad role for future founders, operators, or senior leaders—you’ll be given responsibility, context, and trust from day one.

Hybrid , 2 days on site ( Bracknell and/or London) and 3 days from home. Key Responsibilities:

● Be the right-hand to the CEO for any support required on a day-to-day basis
● Work directly with the founder to execute strategic initiatives across operations, growth, fundraising, product, and more.
● Own and drive special projects—everything from launching a new feature to preparing investor materials or refining internal processes.
● Conduct market research, user interviews, and data analysis to inform key decisions.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and operations.
● Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for stakeholders, partners, or investors.
● Support financial analysis, reporting, and investor relations including handling inbound enquiries.
● Help manage the founder’s priorities, calendar, and communication when needed
● Record minutes post founder meetings and follow up on all actions with relative parties
● Act as a project manager, ensuring milestones are achieved and chasing team members and stakeholders as appropriate to ensure timely delivery of projects.
● Be a force multiplier—unblock, accelerate, and improve how the team operates.
● Assist in strategic planning, market research, and identifying new business opportunities.
● Take ownership of special projects as assigned by the CEO

Requirements:

● 2+ years of experience in business operations, project management, Executive Assistant or a related field.
● Exceptional organisational skills
● Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute projects efficiently
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● A self-starter with a high bias for action and curiosity
● High level of ownership, integrity, and attention to detail
● Excellent English – both written and verbal communication skills for formal and legal emails, reports, and documents.
● High proficiency with Microsoft packages and google suite including word, excel and powerpoint
● Excellent Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.
● Experience in Fast-paced, SME or startups is a plus.
● Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in HVAC systems to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and improving mechanical systems, particularly in the HVAC domain, but also be open to getting involved in the design of wider systems associated with the project. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring innovative and cost effective solutions to life. The candidate will ideally have experience in CEA and vertical farming environments.

Key Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions.
● Create project briefs and timelines concisely that can be explained to both the supply chain and internal stakeholders.
● Develop and design mechanical systems and components, with a keen focus on heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
● Perform full design and costing of mechanical systems such as HVAC and irrigation systems. Calculations may include :
○ Calculation of cooling load, moisture load and/or air volume requirements and the selection of primary and supporting plant.
○ Calculation of pump sizes, tanks sizes and or pipework sizes.
○ Basic electrical estimations to assist with operational estimates.
● Create supporting drawings/diagrams and control system functional descriptions relevant to mechanical systems such as HVAC and irrigation systems.
● Where necessary attend on-site reviews with suppliers and contractors, providing technical expertise during the execution of projects.
● Provide support in equipment selection, project estimating, and production of quotations and tender packages, in collaboration with the wider design team.
● Assist in the design and development of wider systems that contribute to the overall strategy of the business.
● Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in design and engineering.

Requirements:

● Proven experience in design and estimating mechanical projects, ideally within an HVAC environment. Vertical Farming background is Desirable.
● Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
● At least 5 -6 years mechanical design engineer experience.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
● Confidence in structuring briefing and reporting documents.
● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
● In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
● Proven ability to think creatively, solve problems, and drive innovation in the design process.

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Sales Manager to lead and grow our commercial efforts within the Agriculture and vertical farming sector. This role requires a strong track record in sales, with hands-on experience in the agriculture or ag-tech industry, ideally within a vertical farming environment.
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the company to achieve ambitious targets.
